The SL'ers Magazine is an organization owned by GiaBlossom Resident; working for Second Life residents and other virtual worlds, mostly, concentrating on Second Life. The SL'ers Magazine operates within Second Life only. Second Life is in no way affiliated with The SL'ers Magazine. Second Life is a virtual platform for people all over the world.

Sharing in Social media platforms is enabled for any work done by The SL'ers Magazine for the company by itself and/or the companies it takes as clients and/or contributors of the organization. Sharing is just a medium of exposure to the current client/ sponsor/ collaboration base. The current client/ sponsor base can change at any point in time which depends on the person who has hired our services. 

Terms we use at The SL'ers Magazine:

  • Job Seekers are those who play Second Life regularly and are looking to be employed by other players in Second Life.

  • Employers are those have a business in Second Life and are looking for people to be hired in Second Life Gaming currency Linden Dollars; unless otherwise mentioned by the employers. The employers may or may not be clients of Wishing Star.

  • Client Companies are those businesses or companies who have hired our services directly by paying Second Life Gaming Currency, Linden Dollars (or otherwise for certain services stated in a notecard in game and via email from slersmagazine@gmail.com. The notecard or mail created by GiaBlossom Resident or SLers Resident with no modify permissions will be deemed as The SL'ers Magazine Document.). 

  • POC or otherwise stated as Point of Contact is an avatar in Second Life, who is the go-to person or/and has paid GiaBlossom Resident or SLers Resident in Second Life Gaming Currency which is Linden Dollars or other currency clearly stated in the notecard or email as mentioned above. (See the point above for which notecard will be considered as The SL'ers Magazine Document.) The POC can be an avatar that is appointed by the Client Company. All communications of The SL'ers Magazine with the Client Company is communicated to POC.

  • Article can be a post containing words and pictures and videos. It can be a vlog, blog, press release, newsletter, news and any such form that has to do with press or self opinion or opinion of others, or surveys conducted via official social platform or this website.

The SL'ers Magazine staff/owner while promoting a Client Company (Premium Sponsor) to various Social Media does not go against any legal rules intentionally. If any such rule is broken by the staff or owner of The SL'ers Magazine; impromptu action is taken within the company. The SL'ers Magazine staff/owner does not break a legal rule and/or Age rating rules and/or Sim rules and/or Place rules intentionally. If any of the above rules are broken by the said parties; The SL'ers Magazine takes impromptu action, be it internally within the company or outside of the company. The SL'ers Magazine works in harmony with all the rules placed within Second Life. If any person finds a staff not following rules must report to GiaBlossom Resident (owner) immediately. 

The SL'ers Magazine does not take any ownership or responsibility for the products or services sold and/or given by the Client or sponsor or mutual collaboration Companies. This company is simply a means to an end between Second Life Business holders and their target market in Second Life. 

The SL'ers Magazine cannot be held responsible for any staff who are no longer working with the company. We are also not responsible for any staff actions who do not have The SL'ers Magazine tag activated during the time of the incident. Wearing the The SL'ers Magazine tag in Second Life means the avatar is working for or on behalf of The SL'ers Magazine. However, this is limited to only when the staff is at The SL'ers Magazine Headquarters or any The SL'ers Magazine Satellite Offices. 

The SL'ers Magazine cannot be held responsible for any reactions, opinions, views that is/are generated in each issue and/or article and/or after the first promotions goes public. Any avatar approaching any contributor or any member of the Client company to belittle the respective Client Company or any other Client companies currently hiring our services will be considered as a griever. Such avatars will be blocked from The SL'ers Magazine. Any avatar is free to have opinions about any businesses in Second Life. However, this is only limited to, if the same avatar does not claim to be associated with this company. We try and fulfill all obligations that are discussed at the time of payment in Second Life Gaming currency, Linden Dollar.

Any services discussed with the Client Company during the free consultation of one hour after booking, but not paid is not considered to be delivered. The SL'ers Magazine only offers free services to charity events, which is dependent on case to case basis; decided by GiaBlossom Resident. Since the company belongs to a product and service industry. Service means any product that is not tangible. In Second Life, service will be deemed as, any act that does not result in the ownership of any object, prim, texture or mesh to be passed from any staff of The SL'ers Magazine to another any other avatar in Second Life. The payment of such services is to be paid beforehand. However, product includes, the sale of Prim packages with inventory by either SLers Resident or GiaBlossom Resident only.

The Client POC receives the following every month:

  • The links where the Client Company is promoted

  • The time left for the Client Company.

This information is usually given by the General Manager or CEO of The SL'ers Magazine each month. Or any other staff/owner in their absence.

The payment to staff is only made in Linden Dollar unless mentioned for specific commission-based services. This is discussed with the new hires on the day of the interview. Only when the terms are agreed by both parties that is GiaBlossom Resident, who is the owner/CEO of The SL'ers Magazine and the avatar who wants to be hired as a The SL'ers Magazine Staff. The staff in this company are appraised for any job well done by words or in kinds or with Linden Dollar payments. This company is not a real-life company. As such the hours to work in this company are flexible and will always remain so. The SL'ers Magazine is not responsible for any claims from any avatars or theirs "Alts" that the company might be a real-life company. The SL'ers Magazine also does not take responsibility for any Client companies who operate outside of Second Life. 

The SL'ers Magazine takes the credit for any work done for a Client company. We also reserve the rights to use the work as samples and/or work done for our past clients to show to our future prospective clients. To remove a watermark from a video edit comes with an additional cost. The watermark in a video edit is used for the sole purpose of our promotion. The watermark may include our company name, avatar name, and logo of the video editor's name. 

Refunds Policy - The SL'ers Magazine does not refund any amount paid under any circumstances once the contract has been agreed on. We follow a No Refund Policy. Hence, kindly adhere to your decisions to collaborate or work with us seriously. The time here is based on SLT for consistency. For any service, if the client company closes their accounts before the term ends. The value is not returned. This is because The SL'ers Magazine has already done the pre-work according to the contract settled. However, an exception can be if your company closes its doors (client company shuts down) within 12 hours of The SL'ers Magazine' Receipt exchanges hands or the time of the transaction in terms of SLT whichever is earlier. During such exceptions, The SL'ers Magazine will withhold any sponsorship promotions till the time the client company is back in business.

Purchasing, hiring or booking The SL'ers Magazine' products or services means that you as a client have agreed to all the company policies. The company policy of The SL'ers Magazine can change at any time at the discretion of GiaBlossom Resident only. 

Terms of 
Employment

We adhere to the following terms for all positions, except freelancers who are not permanently hired by The SL'ers Magazine. 

  • Attitude to learn and advance the skill set.

  • Eagerness to take more responsibility where possible.

  • Team effort.

  • While working for The SL'ers Magazine, any employee will not be participating or being employed in any other magazine and/or newspaper. This is only for core positions like editors, editor-in-chief, art director, photographer editor, circulation director and/or fact checker. 

  • For all employees, we expect you to follow the general work culture and keep trade secrets and strategies limited within the organization.

  • Other contributors are considered freelancers including freelance writer for daily section. Contributors are not permanently hired by the SL'ers Magazine. They can publish the work submitted to The SL'ers Magazine on other media platforms only after "The SL'ers Magazine has published their submitted work first". If we see the submitted work has already been published elsewhere before, the CEO or Editor-in-chief, retains the right to cancel such article/blog/vlog submitted to us from publishing.

  • All pieces by employees are to be published at the SL’ers first. You can share your write ups from our links. If you are putting the same articles/photographs/videos in your blogs, make sure you link us first.

  • It is necessary to clock in your hours. You will be given access to a Google sheet to do the same. However, it is not necessary to be at the office while working except SMMs.

  • Hiring in-house photographers or graphic designers by Sponsors is not considered poaching. The terms on which the employment is based is between the said parties and has nothing to do with our organization. For hiring such as these, both parties, can donate in the donation box a commission at the HQ.

  • On the basis of performance, bonus, recognition and remuneration will be given.

  • All specifications can be changed at the discretion of CEO only at any time as deemed fit as per case to case basis.
